Originally from Scotland, Fin has been resident in Cayman since 1995. He spent ten years in hospitality before taking the reins in the family business, Ye Old English Bakery. He then joined Jacques Scott and spent four years as the Heineken Brand Manager before becoming Sales Manager (Beer & Spirits) in August 2009 and Beverage Division Director in 2018. He became Sales & Marketing Director in 2020. Fin is a very experienced professional and has successfully created a strong customer base particularly in the local bars which are considered key to the success of the Group’s brands in Cayman.
John is Caymanian and spent seven years in the service industry working in local bars and restaurants doing every front of house job from barback to management. Joined the Jacques Scott Group in the Wholesale Beverage Division in 2011. After six years as a Sales Representative he was promoted to Retail Division Manager in 2017 and Sales & Marketing Manager, Beverage Team in 2020.
A UK citizen originally from Manchester, Lee has travelled to many parts of the globe. He has extensive experience in the hospitality trade and while living in Canada gained his Sommelier certification through the International Sommelier Guild. Lee joined the Group in 2008 working for our Retail Division where he was instrumental in promoting our wine portfolio through in-store tastings and various media outlets. Lee now manages our Wholesale Wine Team coordinating marketing and sales for our extensive wine portfolio which is certainly the largest on island and perhaps in the entire Caribbean.
Casey grew up in the Cayman Islands and is a Caymanian Status holder. He attended Texas Christian University where he studied mathematics before returning to Cayman in 2009. Upon his return to Cayman Casey entered the grocery industry and now has nearly ten years of experience in the local market, which spans both the retail and distribution side of the industry.
Originally from America, Joshua has over 15 years of experience in sales and marketing for Fortune 500 companies such as United Health Group, AT&T and Verizon. He has resided in Cayman over the last 10 years and has spent that time building strong relationships throughout the three islands. He has a very successful background in sales, marketing, and brand management within the Cayman Islands with leading global brands.
A citizen of Mexico who spent seven years in Canada before taking up residence in Cayman in 1990. Sergio had extensive restaurant experience both in Cayman and Canada before joining the Wine Team. Sergio (the “Matador” ) is passionate about bullfighting and fine wines.
Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Rebecca left her hometown when she was 17 and has lived in four different countries since. Her passion for wines started in 2009 when she had the opportunity to do a Sommelier course in Germany. This interest remained a hobby while she worked in the luxurious segment of hospitality in Grand Cayman for many years. In 2016 she decided to make a career out of it and completed her WSET level 3 and started working as an Account Manager for a wine distributor in London. Two years later, she returned to Cayman as a Wine Specialist for the retail segment and completed her WSET Diploma (level 4) in Wines & Spirits. Rebecca joined our Wholesale Wine Team in 2020 and hasn’t looked back since.
Jo Austin was born and raised in the Cayman Islands and has worked on the Beverage Division team for 9 years. She has an illustration degree from Edinburgh College of Art. From Marketing Assistant to Brand Manager, Jo has worked closely with our spirits and beer brands to realize their global plans at a local scale. While Jo works with all Jacques Scott Wine & Spirits brands, she is also our Diageo Brand Manager and runs Cayman Cocktail Week every October, which is in its 7th year.
Jon is originally from England but has been in Cayman for 25 years after leaving University. He worked at many different bars, restaurants and hotels in various capacities. He has been with Jacques Scott for 10 years and is currently Heineken Brand Manager.
Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Kevin has lived in Cayman since 1997. He comes from a big family, one of whom also lives in Cayman. He has worked in various bars/restaurants on island and is well known in the hospitality industry. He joined Jacques Scott in 2018 and is the Brand manager for Coors/Miller and Brown Forman. He is very outgoing and enjoys playing golf, football and fishing in his spare time.
Amba originally hails from New Zealand but has spent a lot of her life travelling the world, having visited ninety-six countries and lived in seven.
She spent her first six years in Cayman with the Ritz-Carlton, most recently as Beverage Manager. She joined the Jacques Scott Beverage Team in March 2020 as the Diageo Brand Ambassador for the Cayman Islands. She has completed WSET 3 in Wine, Sake and Spirits and is also a Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers and a Certified Specialist of Spirits with the Society of Wine Educators. In 2017 she represented the Cayman Islands at the Global World Class Bartending Competition finals in Mexico City.
The call of rum, palm trees and a Dive Instructor’s certificate first brought Adam from Toronto, Canada, to Cayman in 2004. He has spent many of the intervening years in Cayman but no matter where in the world he found himself, Ireland’s uisce beatha (or aqua vitae, water of life) has led him to enjoy the ebb and flow of whiskey’s tide. Learning about alcohol became a passion and working bars around the world became his classroom. He has completed numerous spirit certifications and considers himself lucky to be in a position where he can now share his knowledge both inside and outside of the bar. He’s most recently been in Cayman for the past five years and joined Jacques Scott’s Beverage Team as a Sales Representative in 2020.
Food & Tobacco
Shawn Jackson is very well known in Cayman due to his outgoing and comedic personality. He joined the Jacques Scott Food & Tobacco division in 2012 and since that time he has developed an excellent working knowledge of all our products, while also building impressive sales and merchandising experience. In addition to his skills within the food distribution industry Shawn has qualified as an electrical apprentice and aspires to open his own clothing business.
Jimonie, a Caymanian, has spent three years studying engineering and construction and has in interest in information technology. He joined the Jacques Scott team in January 2019, with experience in sales and the local grocery industry. Having a well rounded knowledge of our products, and the market in general, with excellent customer skills Jimonie is an key member of the Food Division sales team.
